PPG ↑ and net efficiency ↑ generally favor higher values; opponent PPG ↓ favors lower values. Different schedules remain a factor; these ratings are not opponent-adjusted.

National teams
Select a country to explore its strategy, games and players. Final rank is official tournament placement; statistical columns follow the active phase.
How performance progressed
Fourth-quarter outcomes
Games with a strictly positive Q4 margin. Overtime is separate.
Scoring comparison, game by game
Both teams use the same points scale. Margin is selected team minus opponent; higher generally favors the selected team. Active team and phase apply.
Where games were won
Read left to right. OT combines overtime margins where present. Select an opponent to inspect the game.
Attack the game from four angles
Paired opponents in the active selection, rather than the full tournament average. Compare bar lengths within each KPI.

A little context. A clearer game.
Direction matters.
Higher shooting efficiency and net efficiency generally favor the selected team. Lower defensive rating and turnover rate generally favor it. Pace, shot choice and many event totals describe style and context.
Group phase versus later rounds
Later rounds include the selected team’s championship and/or classification path. They are not all championship knockout games.
Strategic fingerprint
Scoring mix, game by game
Selected team and opponent each sum to 100%. Point shares differ from attempt shares; raw scores are shown above each pair.
Tagged scoring situations
A pair of rows per game: selected team, then opponent. Incomplete, overlapping lower bounds; do not add the columns together.
Who moved the result?
Rank players within the selected team, compare output per minute, and inspect actual opposing lineups. Ranks are not cross-country talent rankings.
Contribution
Higher index, EFF and shared margin generally favor the player under this model. Minutes measure workload; opponent quality measures context, not performance. Select a player for detail.

How is the team reference defined?
Matchup and substitution audit
This selector is independent of the phase and ranking selectors. A stint ends when either team changes a player. Margin is shared by all five teammates. Zero-duration free-throw stints affect plus/minus but not minute-weighted strength.

Different players. One clear view.
Compare up to four players from the selected tournament’s countries. Start with output per appearance, then switch to rates per 40 minutes to compare playing-time opportunity. Opponents and roles still differ.

Larger profiles mean higher statistical percentiles. Profile area is not an impact score. Rebounding, steals and blocks do not measure complete defensive ability.

Statistics & graph guide
What each number means, how it is calculated, and how to read it in context. Worked examples are illustrative rather than tournament results.

Meet Crowley.
Start with what the number measures, then check the minutes, opponents and role behind it. This guide explains every statistic and chart, with formulas and worked examples.
Use the question marks beside the numbers for a quick explanation, or search the guide below.
1. Start with the question
Use totals for volume, rates for opportunity, and lineup context when comparing players. “Higher” does not always mean “better”.
2. Get help where you are
Hover or focus a question mark for a short explanation. Click it for interpretation, then choose Read the full explanation for a worked example and direct link.
3. Read several signals together
Check sample size, unit, opponent, and role. Use video to assess tactics and work that box scores do not record.
Definitions and source context
The calculations here describe this dashboard’s implementation. Standard event counts and box efficiency follow basketball statistic conventions; possession estimates, matchup proxies, shrinkage and the contribution index use the formulas explicitly documented above. KPI dictionary and direction
How filters apply
Team applies to the team and impact pages; Compare players uses its own cross-country selection. Phase applies to player comparisons, to overview, scoring comparisons, player progression and the KPI register. Group-versus-later comparison deliberately uses every game for the selected team. A single-game ranking overrides phase for rankings and player cards; progression still follows phase. The stint audit has its own independent game selector. All active scopes remain summarized in the sticky filter bar.
